About Us
Synapse Services is a privately owned and managed Center for Psychological Medicine with the head office in the heart of Nigeria. We provide first-class psychological and psychiatric care as well as treatment of addictions, with a range of therapeutic programs suited to individual needs.
Our purpose is to make a timely and long-lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families we support. Our treatment programs have mainly been developed by clinicians working in America, the United Kingdom and Nigeria. We currently treat over 45 conditions across all our treatment sites. We also have International professionals who work with locally based clinicians for specialised assessments in areas where we struggle to find expertise in the local community or country.
RTMS
We are the first Centre in West Africa to own and operate the REPETITIVE TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION MACHINE (RTMS). We have two machines, one in Lagos and the other in Abuja, Nigeria.
Our in-depth expertise includes addiction services, child and adolescent psychiatry, sleep problems, trauma, personality disorder, psychosis, bipolar disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, learning disability, brain injury and progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington's disease and dementia. Other areas of expertise are available but not listed so please make an enquiry.

To aid in drastically reducing the scorch of stigmatization of mentally ill persons in Africa, thus responding to the various needs of stakeholders. By doing so, we hope to create an environment where a person's goals of wellness and recovery from mental illness and addictions can be realized.
